  1. Statutes and Organisational Objectives

 

Young Global Citizens Assembly e.V. pursues exclusively and directly

tax-privileged charitable purposes within the meaning of the German Fiscal

Code.

 

According to its Statutes, the organisation’s purposes include:

 

  • promoting international understanding, tolerance and intercultural

  education in Germany and internationally;

 

  • providing information and education concerning social, societal and

  political contexts and developments;

 

  • promoting development cooperation in Germany and internationally;

 

  • organising national and international youth and educational projects,

  including exchanges, seminars, training courses and youth initiatives;

 

  • involving volunteers, groups and organisations in educational, cultural,

  youth and development-cooperation activities;

 

  • supporting local and international initiatives that contribute to

  democratisation, peacebuilding and reconstruction processes;

 

  • organising political, cultural and social information events, discussions

  and seminars; and

 

  • conducting public information and awareness-raising activities.

 

The organisation is selflessly active and does not primarily pursue its own

economic interests.
